Book Three

Little Jake loves fishing and while at the sporting goods store he hears about a local bass fishing contest.  This sounds like fun to Little Jake so he signs up for his first fishing tournament.  We hate to give away a good ending so we won't, although the title does do a bit of foreshadowing.  Anyway, after the tournament Little Jake gains a little local celebrity status, which he is not fond of because it interferes with his peaceful fishing.  This book does have a surprise ending as well.  Little Jake and the World Record Bass is loaded with monster-bass action and is fun for all ages.
