About the Sony PMW-350K Video Camera:
Sony continues to expand and improve its XDCAM EX lineup with the PMW-350K Full HD Camcorder. Boasting three 2/3"-type full-HD CMOS sensors, solid state SxS workflow and an impressive set of advanced features, this professional shoulder-mount camera sets a new standard for affordable, high-end videography. With a chassis based on the XDCAM HD422, the PMW-350K also manages to be one of the lightest--and most well-balanced--camcorders in its class (even factoring in the interchangeable 16x Fujinon lens built specifically for this camera).
But comfort and portability are only the beginning. Pressing the Record button reveals what the PMW-350K is really about: topnotch image quality. And this camcorder comes by it honestly, whether in its High Quality 35Mbs HD setting or using the optional 25Mbs DVCAM recording mode. Either way, your images are captured quietly and efficiently to SxS PRO or the new, lower-cost SxS-1 memory cards--storing up to 280 minutes of MPEG-2 HD video on two 32GB cards. If needed, you can even record uncompressed 4:2:2 video by capturing to an external recorder via the camera's HD-SDI output.
Exceptionally low power consumption (only 15W) means the PMW-350K can run on a single 90Wh battery for up to 5 hours--not only good for the environment, but fewer batteries mean less weight (and lower costs) on long-distance shoots. Other features--some passed down from Sony's higher-end F900R and PDW-700--are also worth mentioning, including scene file settings, adjustable gamma, and Matrix settings that can be stored on memory cards. Four channels of audio and a viewfinder that incorporates the EX1/EX3's entire high-resolution LCD screen (and adds image flip, to boot) make the shooter's job even easier. With the introduction of the PMW-350K, Sony reaffirms its XDCAM EX cameras as serious high-definition contenders.

About the Audio Technica AT875R Shotgun Microphone:
The Audio Technica AT875 is a short shotgun condenser microphone that measures only seven inches in length and exhibits the sound quality and performance of larger, higher-priced shotgun microphones. The AT875 addresses the needs of videographers who prefer a short microphone that stays out of the frame, and efficiently rejects off-axis noise.

The smooth, natural audio reproduction captures every detail while a tailored low frequency response controls unwanted low frequency noise. The rugged AT875 operates on 11 to 52V phantom power, and a standard XLR output integrates seamlessly with some of the smaller professional cameras.

About the Audio Technica 11" Shotgun Microphone:
The Audio Technica AT897 is a short shotgun condenser microphone designed for audio capturing in video and broadcast applications. The microphone's unobtrusive length of 11" (279.40mm) ensures that the microphone remains out of the frame when mounted on compact, consumer video cameras. The microphone's narrow pick up pattern enhances signal reproduction when capturing audio at long range. Excellent off-axis sound rejection minimizes noise and ambiance, emphasizing the desired signal. A wide frequency response provides accurate sound reproduction of signals registering at various frequencies. A low-cut frequency switch eliminates noise and hum registering at the low frequency range. The microphone operates on a single 1.5v AA battery or 11V - 52V phantom power.

About the Rode Blimp System:
The Rode Blimp Windscreen and Suspension System is a professional, adjustable windscreen and shockmount solution for popular shotgun microphones measuring up to 12.79" (325mm) in length.
The system is comprised of a professional pistol-grip with dual hoop suspension mounts that may be adjusted anywhere on the support bar. A short XLR cable provides an XLR connection at the base of the grip and connection to the microphone. The blimp windshield basket cradles the suspension mounts, and a fur windscreen covers the entire windshield basket.
The entire system is designed for handheld operation, and a 3/8" thread at the base of the grip allows the system to be boom mounted as well.

About the Rode Mini Boom Pole:
The Rode Mini Boompole is a compact, lightweight solution to electronic-news-gathering (ENG) and field recording applications that do not necessarily require a long boompole. The Mini Boompole features a fully extended length of 81-inches and 33-inches when contracted. A 3/8-inch stud easily attaches to compatible microphone mounts such as the Rode SM3, SM4 and SM5 shockmounts.

About the Pelican 1650 Case:
The Pelican 1650 Case with Foam (Black) is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical resistant and corrosion proof hard case used to carry any kind of equipment that needs to be protected from the elements. It is made of Ultra-high Impact structural copolymer that makes it extremely strong and durable. It has a 0.25" (6.4 mm) neoprene o-ring, ABS latches that seal perfectly and includes an automatic purge valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure.
The 1650 comes with a top handle, oversized side handle, a retractable extension handle and strong polyurethane wheels with stainless steel bearings. It has an effortless release latch for the extension handle. The padlock protectors provide added strength and extra security against cutting and theft.

About the Porta Brace STC-2EX Storm Coat Extreme:
The Porta Brace STC-2EX Storm Coat Extreme was designed to protect broadcast cameras from heavy weather conditions. It is made of a 3 layer bond of tough 200 denier nylon oxford, a waterproof sheet of Fabuthane, and a soft layer of nylon tricot. The coat is fast and easy to put on with an extended zipper on the bottom and a zippered viewfinder sleeve. There is a neoprene gasket around the lens shade both grips the lens shade to keep the case in proper position, and seals out harsh weather, sea-spray and dust.
The STC-2EX has a mic cover with two designated tie downs to keep the cover trim in high winds, and can accommodate multiple microphones. An extended hand-sleeve for camera operation is long enough to transition over your jacket to help keep you dry. It has a 17" storm collar that allows top access to the camera offering the possibility for a carrying strap and a light. The opening seals tight with hook and loop and folds over for extreme weather. A neoprene light guard forms a gasket around the light post and fastens anywhere along the 17" collar, keeping the camera dry. For added operator comfort, a neoprene pad covers the bottom zippers at the camera's shoulder pad.
The STC-2EX also includes a large vinyl window on the viewfinder side, a separate zipped opening for left handed manual focus and controls, an expandable back that gives you an extra 2 inches in length if you need it, and easy access to battery and tape.
